The ID-SIS Personal Profile service ("ID-SIS-PP") is an instance of the data services template. It defines a service by which personal information about the Principals themselves can be obtained and used. As often as not, a given Principle will have multiple ID-SIS-PP services (e.g., home & office).

Useful implementation information can be found in the Liberty ID-SIS PP Service Implementation Guidelines.

The WSC ("client") queries and/or updates the ID-SIS-PP via DST-compliant messaging with the Attribute Provider (AP) hosting the ID-DID-PP. A Principal can delegate to the SP the right to invoke his/her ID-SIS-PP via the Discovery Service.
